One-Wire is a device communications bus system designed to provides low-speed data, signaling, and power over a single signal. Fine,
so we have an inexpensive communication bus and a range of sensors that either count pulses, measure voltage, measure temperature or act as a switch and we can
collect information from these sensors which we can then store, analyse, and act on. The question remains how do we get from a physical phenomenom
to a voltage, pulse or temperature? This is where devices come to the rescue, they respond to a physical phenomenom to produce a voltage, pulse or temperature.
With a little ingenuity almost all the phenomenom that we may be interested in a home environmen can be, measured with a relatively in-expensive device.
